Les commenced Maths tutoring, Science Tutoring and Physics tutoring for High School and University students when he first enrolled as a student at the University of NSW, Kensington in 1973. Les graduated with two degrees:

Les offers private tutoring where he specializes in Mathematics, Science and Physics courses at all levels. Over the past few decades Les has helped hundreds of students through their secondary school years in their lead up to the Higher School Certificate. He has even helped under-graduates with their studies at Universities and Colleges, and at one stage was working as an assistant Lecturer at St George Technical College.

During his Maths tutoring, Science tutoring & Physics tutoring, Les combines theory with practical applications to the physical world like in consumer arithmetic, finance and Engineering.
Les is fully qualified with over 40 years experience in tutoring. He has worked not only in education but has background in engineering and business. He is able to combine both school studies with day to day applications., and aims to make mathematics interesting and meaningful.

To get the best results, Les’ preference is to private tutor 1 on 1 at the student’s place of residence where the student is most at ease, or at his place in Ettalong Beach. Les can also provide online tutoring during Covid-19 lockdown periods or if the students lives remotely. Lessons are individually tailored to assist with current stu
To get the best results, Les’ preference is to private tutor 1 on 1 at the student’s place of residence where the student is most at ease, or at his place in Ettalong Beach. Les can also provide online tutoring during Covid-19 lockdown periods or if the students lives remotely. Lessons are individually tailored to assist with current studies at school, and address any critical study gaps from the past.
A one-hour lesson per week during school terms is normally sufficient to enable the student to keep up with current school lessons whilst allowing some time for revision.
Additional support is available during the week as Les is always available by phone or email. In addition, online coaching can be arranged.
